Tarkeo is a mobile application (iOS and Android) for creating commissioning inspection reports for electrical installations. By using the app you accept these terms of use. The app runs locally on your device; your inspection data is stored only on your device.
2.1 Full use of Tarkeo requires an auto-renewing monthly subscription. The price is as shown in the app store (in Finland approx. €18.83/month, incl. VAT).
2.2 New users receive a 14-day free trial. After the trial, the subscription renews automatically at the stated price unless cancelled.
2.3 The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
2.4 Payment is charged and the subscription is managed by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play), not by the provider. The store issues the receipt and invoice.
3.1 You can cancel the subscription at any time in your device's store subscription settings (App Store: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play Store → Subscriptions).
3.2 Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until the end of the period.
3.3 Refunds are handled by the store under its own refund policy. The provider does not process payments and cannot grant refunds directly.
The app is granted as a limited, non-exclusive licence for personal / internal business use. Reverse engineering, resale or unauthorised distribution of the app is prohibited.
The app is provided "as is". The provider is not responsible for the correctness of the content of inspection reports; responsibility for the correctness and legality of an inspection always lies with the professional performing the electrical work. The provider is not liable for the loss of data stored on the device (e.g. device failure); the user is responsible for backups / exporting bundles. The provider's total liability is limited to at most the subscription fees paid during the last 12 months, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes shall primarily be resolved by negotiation; a consumer customer has the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board.
Unless otherwise stated, use on iOS is additionally subject to Apple's standard licence agreement (Apple Standard EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In case of conflict, Apple's terms apply to Apple distribution.
The provider may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app. Price changes will be notified in accordance with the store's rules before they take effect.
